As training development professionals, we often overlook one of the most important tools we have in our toolkit. Our experience! In this session, you will share with other Training and Development professionals how you have increased the effectiveness of your training programs and promote synergies and develop new processes for improving your training programs and share best practices.
Discussion Session
Mike will lead us in a discussion and is looking for each person that attends, to share a success story with the group. Therefore please come prepared to share creative, innovate ideas or solutions and ideas!
Mike will be available to answer questions and share his 20 years of experience of teaching, leadership training and Organizational Development experience.
About Mike O'Brien

Mike has been a Learning and Design Specialist at Festival Foods since 2016, where he develops and delivers Leadership training for over 500 store and support office leaders throughout the organization. Mike is a highly skilled trainer and facilitator with a passion for leadership and individual development. He is known for his engaging, thoughtful, open, and conversational approach when facilitating training sessions.
He has more than 20 years of teaching and training experience as a member of Organizational Development and Training departments at Prudential, Hartford Life, Bemis Company, and Festival Foods. He has demonstrated an expertise in delivering training for topics including: Coaching, Interviewing, Change Management, Presentation Skills, and New Hire Orientation. He earned a BA in Secondary Education from UW-Eau Claire.
