About the presenter, Deborah Biddle
Founder and Principal, The People Company Consulting Group

Deborah Biddle is a highly respected consultant, coach, speaker, and trainer specializing in diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB), with over 30 years of experience spanning corporate, nonprofit, and small business sectors. As the founder of The People Company Consulting Group, Deborah assists organizations in building inclusive cultures, rethinking strategies, and making impactful decisions. Renowned for her calm and thoughtful approach, as well as her passion for belonging, she has transformed how organizations and individuals engage with DEIB.
Deborah has earned a range of professional certifications in leadership, equity, and inclusion. She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Keller Graduate School of Management at DeVry University and a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her credentials and specialized DEIB training make her a sought-after consultant who designs programs for organizations seeking lasting change.
Deborah is deeply involved in her community. She serves on the Tempo Madison and Africasong boards and the UnityPoint Health-Meriter Community Health Impact Committee. She is also a member of Madison Downtown Rotary and a Golden Life member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Schaumburg Hoffman Estates Alumnae Chapter.
Recognized for her DEIB work, Deborah received the 2024 Award for Small Business Entrepreneurship from the Upsilon Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated. In 2019, she was named one of Wisconsin’s 49 Most Influential Black Leaders by Madison365, and in 2023, she was honored for her service on the Impact Christian Schools board. Her approachable, nonjudgmental style encourages thoughtful engagement with complex DEIB topics.
Guided by her belief that “Service to God is not an option but a requirement” and her mantra “THINK Better, DO Better, BE Better,” Deborah remains committed to nurturing growth in both her professional and personal life.
